PSP NYC organizes "Know Your Rights" training periodically to educate the community about how to peacefully but firmly assert their Constitutional rights when dealing with law enforcement. Our approach is focused on asserting our rights via non aggressive methods that avoid escalating confrontations into violence or an arrest.

We train the community on best practices for filming the police for the purpose of accountability. Our approach is meant to peacefully de-escalate situations to create a safer community environment where citizens peacefully yet firmly exercise their rights & encouraging police to act ethically.
